proudly present the 2009

Wheaton Fourth of July Parade
and Fireworks

The Wheaton Jaycees would like to thank the Wheaton community for 20 years of support.  If it were not for the cooperation and assistance from the City of Wheaton, Wheaton Police and Fire Departments, and Wheaton Public Works, this event would not be as successful as it has been.  If it were not for our entrants, who have continued to amaze with their creativity, this Parade would not be as entertaining.  And finally, if it were not for our wonderful spectators,  those of you who have shouted your thanks from the Parade route as we pass by, we would not have enjoyed the past 20 years as much as we have.

Earlier in 2009, we decided that after a very good run and many rewarding experiences, it was time to hand off the parade to the next generation.  We wish the best to those that will take over the reins in the years to come.   God bless Wheaton, and God bless America.

This year's theme is "Celebrating Tomorrow"
This year's Grand Marshal is Bart Loiacono
Congratulations to all of the parade winners!

The parade was the end of Wheaton's Sesquicentennial.
Happy 150 years Wheaton!
